Pet Ranch History

Pet Ranch opened its' doors for business in Humble Texas in 1978. Jim and Joan Brown, founders, grew the business over the years to include the Kingwood area. The Kingwood location opened in 1984. The business was built on the motto: Fair Prices... Friendly Service...Good Grooming. Customer service formed the foundation of the business; honesty the cornerstones. In 2000, Jim and Joan retired, closed the Humble location and sold the business to their daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Kent Stevens (pictured above) who had managed the stores for several years. The business continues to thrive today at its Kings Crossing location. Honest answers, trained personnel and a wide selection of products await you at Pet Ranch. Founder Jim Brown still works part time in customer service.
